Hi I'm Drew

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to watch and play baseball. I love all kinds of music. I like to travel so that I can learn from and understand other cultures. I want to get a masters degree in conflict resolution so that I can help others see each other for who the good that they have.

Why I am a Mormon

In my youth I began to have trials with depression and I realized that my current lifestyle was not helping me find any type of increased understanding or happiness. I decided to try praying and as I prayed I began to pray as if God was there with me in the room. This unformal type of prayer really helped me to draw close to my Heavenly Father and to poor out the desires of my heart with a feeling that there was someone there listening to me. I had always thought that I needed to pray kneeling down next to my bed but when I decided to pray while driving in the car talking as if God was sitting right next to me I became more sincere with my words and felt comfort I had never felt before. I choose to live the Gospel today because I have recieved hope for the future, comfort from my trials, and a knowledge of who I am (Where I came from, why I am here on this earth, and that I will be with my family eternally when I die). The Book of Mormon helped me come to this realization, I know the Book of Mormon is true.

How I live my faith

I choose to live my faith by serving within the church today and helping the church with whatever they may need help with. I love to answer questions about the church and help others understand why I believe the doctrines of the church and choose to live by its teachings. I try to create an environment for other to feel comfortable in approaching me as they seek for help from the trials they encounter in their life.
