Hi I'm Ana Banana =)

I cant die until I speak at least 5 languages! I can longboard and surf so much better in my head! I love chips! and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Born in Guatemalan Jungle goodness. Ran barefoot. Climbed trees. Shipped to Philadelphia by 10. Middle school=AWKWARD! Middle school+not speaking English= torture. Made it to college somehow and went to BYU-IDAHO! woop woop best place ever and became an English major! It's helped my English a little. Flown to cactus land, Arizona to serve a mission for the Lord at 21. Still here. Loving life! Loving naps! (I don't get enough haha)! loving Mexican taco galore! Buffalo chicken cheese steaks+naps+driving barefoot+Nintendo marathons=Me

Why I am a Mormon

The missionaries found my family living in a small house with a tin roof, cinder block walls, and a dirt floor in Guatemala. When they shared the gospel with us, I just felt happy. I was only ten but I knew that what they were saying was true. Now, fast forward 11 years, I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father sent two faithful missionaries to the middle of nowhere in a small town in Guatemala to bring my family and I something eternal. Getting baptized was the best decision I ever made. It was so great that my older brother went on his mission to Colorado and my younger one is in Washington serving his mission at the same time as me except I'm in cactus land, Arizona as a missionary sharing that same gospel that I heard when I was 10 so that other families could have the eternal peace and happiness that my family is able to enjoy now. After all this time, it's all still true and it brings hope and happiness to my life and my family everyday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by laughing! we believe that men are so they may have joy. All that Heavenly Father wants for us, just like any other parent, is for His children to be happy. I LOVE LAUGHING! I know that happiness is found in the journey. Life is funny! I longboard and man have I biffed it so hard! When I fall, I can cry or I can laugh. crying is lame sauce! Laughing is so much better! But sometimes I do a little bit of both depending on how hard I fell! haha My parents taught me that happiness is a choice. I choose to be happy and no one else can make or change that choice for me. =)

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Ana Banana =)
To come to earth and be happy and grow and help others and learn and show Heavenly Father that we will be obedient to His commandments even though He's not standing right next to us! I think it's exciting! I'm up for the challenge =) Show more Show less
