Hi I'm Michelle

I love working with people and have volunteered at elementary schools and high schools for 15 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 children and I LOVE my family. We love doing things together like camping, hiking, reading good books, listening to good music and watching old musicals. We are fan's of bollywood films. Growing up my dad was in the Navy so I've lived in Washington, California, Philippines, Alaska, Arizona, Idaho & Utah. After attending Ricks College in Idaho, I served a mission in Quito Ecuador. I am constantly amazed at today's technology and love learning new things on the computer.

Why I am a Mormon

I could not imagine what my life would be like without the church. I love all the programs the church has for the Men, Women, Youth and children. Especially in todays turbulent times, I can't imagine how a person can manage without the support and love of the church members. It's comforting to know that the church is the same where ever I go. It is comforting to know that we have a living prophet here on earth today who receives revelation from our Heavenly Father to help us now, just like he did with his prophets in the scriptures. I love the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I am so very grateful to my elder brother Jesus Christ who set a perfect example for us. I am grateful that his church has been restored here on the earth today. I know that my Heavenly Father know's me personally, that he hears and answers my prayers. I will be forever grateful to Joseph Smith and for the prayers he offered to our Heavenly Father. I know this church is true.

How I live my faith

For the past few years I have had the opportunity to work with the teenage youth in the church. What a blessing it has been to see the strength and testimony these young ladies possess. They are so willing to help the community in cleaning out washes, painting homes, pulling weeds or babysitting. They inspire me. I am stregthened each week as I attend church on Sunday and listen to the talks and lessons prepared by other church members. As a family we look forward to Family Home Evening on Monday nights where we each take turns teaching a gosple principle and then closing the evening with a game. I enjoy the opportunies I have once a month to meet with other women in the church to learn a new skill or just socialize. I love being a Mormon!
