Hi I'm Kari

I earned my BS in accounting and worked for 7 years. NOW, I LOVE to spend time with my husband and dog. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in New Mexico and started college a few weeks after graduating from high school. During my college career, I went on an eighteen-month mission to Cebu, Philippines and then returned to finish my degree. After college, I moved close to my family and met my wonderful husband a couple years later. I worked for seven years supporting him and now I do some part-time work, including piano teaching, and mainly spend time taking care of my husband and our families. We love traveling, water skiing, hiking, camping, watching movies, going to dinner, playing card/board games, and so much more as long as we are together.

Why I am a Mormon

Both sides of my family have been Mormon for several generations but I still had to decide for MYSELF if I believed. I remember, as a senior in high school, I started to question many things in my life, especially my beliefs. After several months of questioning, I went to my mom, who is my best friend, and told her about my feelings. She reminded me that because of the witnesses and the Spirit I had felt several times in my life I knew the truth deep inside. She was right and I have NEVER questioned my beliefs since that day.

How I live my faith

My life would be so different if I wasn't a Mormon because it is WHO I am. I try to be kind and patient to those around me, especially my family, because of the example of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I love to serve and help others either through my musical abilities - piano and organ - or even by just being a friend. The greatest blessing is all the different type and ages of people I have met and worked with through living my faith. My life has been GREATLY blessed because of them!
