Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a father of three, a husband, a business owner and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of three and love spending time with my family. We enjoy hiking, biking, riding 4 wheelers and boating. When I am not working or spending time with my family I enjoy flyfishing and hunting.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and like many other people had to decide if the doctrines and things that I had heard so many times where true or simply something that others believed. As an 18 year old young man, I studied the doctrines that I had been taught and I thought about serving a mission for the church. I then realized that the only way that I could do so, was if I knew that it was true. I also knew that the only way that I could know if it were true was to ask God. I already knew what my parent thought, but now I NEEDED TO KNOW. I prayed and received an answer to my prayer, I learned for myself that it was true and then became excited to share what I had learned with others. The greatest news is that everyone can know for themselves, you don't have to believe me or any other person. Study, ponder what you study and then ask God. He is our Father and will answer your prayers.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday. I start the day in prayer, and end the day in prayer. I truly believe that God is my Father and that he is aware of my needs. One of my favorite ways to live my faith is by hometeaching. I have had some of my most amazing experiences trying to be a good hometeacher. I have gained some of my closest friends and have learned so much from others as I've visited with them in their homes. I have learned that like me, the members of the church are imperfect people trying to become better.
