Hi I'm Georgia

I'm a Mormon. I spent the first years of my life in California USA but my heart is in Arizona USA.

About Me

I am a 67yr young single women. I was born in California,USA but call myself an Arizonan,USA I was divorced many years ago. I have 4 children 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. I grew up with family around me great grandparents on both sides and cousins by the dozens It was a good childhood put I did not appreciate it at the time. As a child growing up I struggled in school and was never given the opportunity for higher education. But I have overcome many of my struggles and have taken classes along the way to help with jobs and such. I have a child (adult now) that has learning disabilities that I learned much from. He is so Christ like. I love doing my genealogy and scrapbookking on the computer. I am strong willed and sometimes call it the way I see it. OOPS!! Don't ask my children they will tell you the whole truth about my being opinionated. I have a strange since of humor and love a good laugh.but seem to be more serious.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not really raised in the church even thou my fathers line is a long line of LDS pioneers. As a young child I was taken to many different churches. But the day I was taken into an LDS church I knew it was where I wanted to be. The rest is history as my parents took me and my sister to church each Sunday but never went with us. Because of opportunities of attending so many diverse churches I knew the different feelings as I listened to what was taught. As I grew in knowledge my testimony grew. The spirit bore witness to me that I was learning truths. I love my parents my children and all my family both those who have gone on and those who carry on there heritage. It is through the gospel of Christ that I have learned of the true value of the here and now and the eternities. I know the Gospel has been restored in these the last days and is for everyone.

How I live my faith

I was taught as a child that you never turn down a calling. It has been a good standard to live by. As with each calling I have learned and grown in faith and love of each organization and the people. Yes I know that we are not all perfect and you will work with all types. I am so glad God did not make us all the same. My strengths are few but my growth and testimony are my great joy, I want to share with the every one.I KNOW THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS IS TRUTH RESTORED. I had the opportunity of serving a mission in the UK, London will always hold a place in my heart. If you are learning about the church or are just curious about its people please know that we are pretty normal people who love the Lord and understand our Heavenly Fathers plain and purpose for all His children. Not because some one told me it was so but because I studied and learned for my self. If I did not believe for myself I certainly would not stay.
