Hi I'm Emily

I'm married with 4 kids. As a wife and mother, I wear many hats, but I love every one of them. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a husband and 4 kids who are my life. I work part time as an aide at my children's school (mostly so I can spend time with my kids). The rest of my time is spent being a chauffeur, chef, maid, housekeeping, scheduler, etc. As a mom I wear many hats, but I am grateful to wear every one. I love cars, both old and new. I enjoy driving them as well as working on them. I love camping, shooting guns, and riding ATV's. However, I also enjoy dressing up like a princess for a night on the town with my hubby, who I adore!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church, and baptized when I was 8 years old. I never doubted that it was truth, but as I got into my teenage years, I decided to make sure I was sure. I read the Book of Mormon in High School, and when I was 19 years old my parents took our family to tour the early church history sights. As I visited the areas where the church was restored to the earth, my testimony of it's truth grew stronger as I felt the spirit that resided in those places. The more I study, the more I believe it's truth!

How I live my faith

The gospel of Jesus Christ is a gospel of service. I love to serve my fellow members in various capacities. I've spent years teaching in the women's organization, as the president of the young women's organization, as a secretary in the primary children's organization, and am currently responsible for organizing music for our congregation's meetings. I also conduct the choir. In whatever capacity I serve, I know that I am helping others to live the gospel of Jesus Christ more fully. The more fully I serve, the more I feel like I'm filled with the spirit of my Heavenly Father.
