Hi I'm Don Lundell

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an electrical engineer, worked in the technical and executive areas of the computer business since I graduated with my BSEE in 1964. We spent about 25 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, where we raised a family of 6 children, and now have 18 grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

My Swedish ancestors joined the Church in Sweden, left comfortable conditions and migrated to Utah, where they settled and helped build communities. The concept of eternal family relationships has deep feelings for me. I cannot imagine a heaven without those associations! Thus, the temples and the eternal covenants made there are deeply significant to me. I am involved in tracing my family history as far back as I can. I believe that one day, we will see and know each other again.

How I live my faith

My wife and I have developed the practice of reading from the Book of Mormon each day at breakfast for a few minutes. What a positive start to the day! We are both serving in Church callings, past callings in leadership positions as a bishop and stake president, now deep into family history.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Don Lundell
I think that Hevanly Father's hand was involved in bringing us together. After some 48 years our love is many times greater than when we first got married. Life has provided enough challenges to keep things interesting. Teamwork and support of the roles of each other provide a sound example for children to observe and follow. The best gift a father can give his children is to marry an intelligent woman to be their mother. I think I did this. Show more Show less
