Hi I'm Elder Vincent Johnson

I grew up in Hemet CA, I want to be a writer, artist, I curently am on a mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I wish to be a writer, I love drawing, I often find myself drawing up things for my stories. I have a Family of nine, A mom a dad four sisters and two brothers. I earned my Eagle Scout in 2010, that was probably the biggest thing I've completed, other than High School. I currently am on a mission in New Jersey I'm finally out here doing the lords work. I take a big interest finding out things about people, probably to fuel up my imagination for characters. But I try to listen the Best I can so I can get to know people as fast as possible. This was also what led me to getting into the Book of Mormon and the Bible, I try to figure out the people in the stories and figure out what kind of people they were, what they think and how they respond to things, So I often draw out the stories. That is one of the main ways I received my testimony of there truth, because I treated it like it was the lives of real people.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know that this church is true thru a simple promise in the Book of Mormon it took me five years to get an answer but I got it and now I know with full surity

How I live my faith

I am on a Mission right now so, just about everything I'm doing right now I draw so I tend to draw out things that are religious. But the pictures capture the action of the events in the scriptures, So i have found a way to keep the scriptures alive to me by using the talents God gave me. On my mission to New Jersey I have seen many crazy things, I have helped in the clean up of hurricane Sandy, and Irene. It was amazing to see what changes we can make as we show love and want to help, the people we help are in the depths of sorrow at the beginning but by the time we leave they are smiling and laughing, They are really touched by the love we show.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Elder Vincent Johnson
We as missonarys have a purpose it is: "to invite others to come unto Christ by reciving the restored Gosple through Faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement, repentance, baptisum, reciving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and Enduring to the end." Our purpose lays out what we do and teach we teach others how they can come to Christ and recive the saving steps to return to heaven through the Preisthood authority of God and Christ. We hope to build faith in God the Eternal Father, his son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less
