Hi I'm Wade

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I’m a husband, father and grandfather, that loves to play sports and games with his family and friends. I work with computers and love technology. I'm ex-military and I’m a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I’m a Mormon, because God has confirmed the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to me by the power of the Holy Ghost. As I've studied, prayed and attempted to obey His commandments, the Spirit has affirmed the truth of the gospel to my mind and heart. Knowing it hasn't made me perfect, but it has given me strong motivation to rely on Christ for my salvation and to learn to become like him by following his example. I'm a Mormon, because of the peace I feel when I strive to learn Christ’s gospel and obey His commandments. In a world turned upside down, it's good to know where to look for peace of mind and soul.

How I live my faith

My faith instills in me a desire to serve others. Sometimes that means helping out with a community project, or offering a smile or brief word of encouragement to an acquaintance, friend or stranger. In the past, it’s been helping load or unload a moving truck for a neighbor, babysitting, teaching a skill, doing yard work, and trying to see what can be done to make life easier for someone. Living my faith also means serving my family. That service has taken many forms over the years, but playing, praying and working together would cover most of them. In short, it means striving to follow Christ by providing loving, individual service to those I know and meet.
