Hi I'm Brooke.

I love learning. I've traveled the world. I'm an accountant. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always loved learning. I've earned my Masters degree of Accountancy, but working in an office was short-lived. I'd rather spend my days at the zoo with my children. I am fascinated with the miracle of the human body so I one day want to return to school to learn more. I will always appreciate my accounting background. I met my incredible, handsome husband when he asked me to do his tax return. His talents were in writing children literature. Our children always love bedtime when they hear the next chapter of their fantasy adventures. My favorite adventure is riding my bike, feeling the wind whip past me, seeing new views, and sharing that beauty with my girls in a trailer behind me.

Why I am a Mormon

I find hope and purpose every day through this gospel. My husband and I share the same goals, knowing that our family can be together forever. The little things we do everyday to serve each other and our children do matter. I find answers to my prayers. The Lord knows my children so much better than I do. They were His long before they were mine. I seek to know from Him how I can best teach them and discipline them. The pattern of how He teaches me helps me in how I teach my children. I have felt the confirmation through the Holy Ghost of the truthfulness of the restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that Jesus Christ is the only way I can be reconciled and prepared to return to live with my Father in Heaven. I love this gospel and my Savior.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I spend time with the children. I prepare lessons to teach the children ages 3-11. I try to share stories and sing songs that will help the spirit touch them. I want them to know the sweet peace the gospel brings. The greatest part of how I serve comes not from what I teach them, but from what they teach me. The are so trusting and faithful. They are loving, forgiving, sensitive, and humble. I love serving the children because they set an example for me of how I can become more Christ-like.
