Hi I'm Austin

I’m a full time student, business owner, husband, and father of two beautiful daughters. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have two beautiful daughters. I am a full time graduate student and own two small businesses. My hobbies include ultimate Frisbee, pogo sticking, and trampolines. Although my work and schooling take a large amount of time I strive to spend as much time with my family as possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and have always enjoyed the friendships developed there. I now have come to understand the affect living the gospel has had on my life which is why I strive to follow the teachings learned each Sunday. I have found that serving others is what truly brings me happiness, which is a habit I formed through the church. Being a Mormon has helped me stay away from a lot of bad situations that I have seen many friends get into. It has helped me be a better husband and father by understanding the importance of family life.

How I live my faith

I strive to live my faith by taking every opportunity to serve others. This brings me happiness as I see others being lifted up through others service. I currently work with the young men and scouts at our church. I oversee about 55 of the boys ages 12-18 while working directly with 15 of the 16-18 year olds. We have activities each Wednesday evening that help build unity, develop friendships, and build faith in our Savior. The weekly activates range from serving widows in the community to playing Frisbee and going hiking. The relationships developed are indispensible for these boys during a very difficult time in their lives as they are faced with many negative examples each day at school and work.
