Hi I'm Annalee

I’m a mom, a teacher, a retired military wife, and a Mormon.

About Me

I love my wonderful family: sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, parents, my own 4 children, and my dear husband. I love to laugh and spend time with my family. I enjoy music, reading, the great outdoors, and smelling the flowers in my garden which grow in spite of the climate challenges of my Colorado foothills home.

Why I am a Mormon

I have enjoyed the blessing of growing up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have always had the peace of knowing where I come from and where I will go when my journey here on earth is done. My family is closely connected - even with those who have passed on. Several family members have been helped by those relatives. I know God lives and answers my prayers. I know the Book of Mormon is true. Those who will read it suspending any kind of judgment or bias will feel the sweet spirit and truths in that great book. Life would be empty and scary without the spiritual faith and knowledge that I possess. The gospel gives me strength and guidance.

How I live my faith

I try to live like Jesus Christ would live. That is a very tall order, but I don’t have to get there in one day or even one lifetime as long as I am making progress. I work with the youth in my congregation. They are so much fun! They show me how to share this wonderful gospel with others. They are courageous and strong. I hope I can help strengthen them as much as they help me. I try to be an example to my husband who is not of my faith. I try to show him how much joy and peace I receive from the gospel of Jesus Christ.
