Hi I'm Steve

I'm the father of 6 and grandfather of 4. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Taylorsville, Utah. I enjoy playing golf (some rounds anyway) and watching most other sports. My favorite spectator sports are pro baseball, pro and college basketball and football and over the last few years soccor. I graduated from BYU in financial and estate planning and have enjoyed the same career for the last 32 years. I find it very satisfying to help others maximize their financial resources and achieve peace of mind as it relates to their financial future. My family has always been very important to me and now that my wife and I are grandparents we are thoroughly enjoying this next phase of life.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised as a member of the Mormon Church, I made a decision to follow my Savior in His church as a teenager. I received a witness of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon as an additional witness of Jesus Christ as a young teenager and that witness served as an anchor for me through the rest of my teenage years. As I have continued to serve others and study both the Bible, the Book of Mormon and other revelations made available to man, further and deeper witnesses have come to me in many ways. I have witnessed both physical miracles and very personal spiritual witnesses of the Holy Ghost that continue to act as anchors for me in my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith as fully as possible in every way possible. I have had the opportunity to serve in our church in many different capacities from young children to youth to the older members of our church and even entire congregations. I have found that the more service is given to others the more satisfaction and direction I find in my own life.
