Hi I'm Jim

I am a husband and father of 3. I love spending time with my family, the outdoors, scouting and helping others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 22 years to my high school sweetheart. I have one son and two daughters. I love to spend time with my family, serve others, woodworking, and the being in the outdoors. My life has been blessed by volunteering my time as a BSA scout and young men leader to the boys in my area.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. My wife is a convert to the church. She joined at the age of 18 because of the way she was treated and the love that she felt from my family and ward members. That love of Christ has carried us through some rough times in life. The gospel of Jesus Christ has given us the knowledge of true happiness, guidelines on how to raise a family that can be together forever, and how to make a difference in the lives other people.

How I live my faith

I have been volunteering my time as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America and working with the young men in our area for about 10 years now. This gives me the opportunity of doing many things I love to do, like camping, that I may not take the time to do other wise. It is very rewarding to see these young men grow up and make good choices in life. I look for opportunities of helping my neighbors. I do what I can to make my wife and kids happy.
