Hi I'm Dan Sudweeks

Born and raised Mormon. Love all sports and the outdoors. I'm a Husband, Father, Grandfather and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a young at heart dreamer that has never given up on living life each day to it's fullest. I am merried to my best friend whom I met in kindergarten. I am a father of six wonderful children and right now 6 beautiful grandchildren. I am an entrepreneur to the 10th degree. I have moved more times that I can count and had just as many jobs. I have been a School Teacher, Stock Borker, variety of sales positions and currently CEO of a construction Company. I have always been more interested in who I am becoming than what I am. I love sports of all kinds and still claim to better my kids in many of the sports only because I find ways at my old age to change the rules. I love flyfishing, hiking with my wife, and watching my kids and grandkids grow up.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of the Church. I have been active all my life, and will never stray away from the church. At age 14 I had a hunting accident where I accidentally shot my uncle with a shot gun while hunting pheasants. He was transported to the intensive care unit at a major hospital where he fought for his life. As a young lad I pled with my father in heaven to spare his life. I promised that if he lived I would always stay active all my life and never stray from what I know to be true. I am still keeping my promise to my Father in Heaven and myself.

How I live my faith

The one thing that defines me is my love for other people. I served a mission to Japan at the age of 19 where I learned to love all people. I speak Japanese and love to talk to people of all ethnic backgrounds. I love to serve others. I have been blessed to be able to serve in many leadership callings in the church. The opportunities to serve the youth have been my favorite. I am currently serving with my wife as the Teacher Development teacher in our ward along with being assigned to visit several families as a home teacher. I am constantly striving to become the best I can. I look forward to meeting my elder brother, my Savior and redeemer Jesus Christ whom I am striving daily to come to know, through living a Christ centered life.
