Hi I'm Brad

I was born and raised in Indiana. I love sports and the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a proud Hoosier. I grew up playing sports and I love fishing, hiking, and camping. I left Indiana to go to college at BYU in Provo, Utah. I also spent two years as a Mormon missionary in Nevada where I learned to speak Spanish. I get to use my Spanish quite a bit now that I'm attending dental school since about half of my patients are Spanish-speaking. My beautiful wife and I live in Indianapolis and are looking forward to starting a family and finding out what life has in store for us.

Why I am a Mormon

Simply put, living the teachings of the Mormon church has kept me on a path that I am happy to be on. It's allowed me to grow up in a great family. It kept me out of trouble as a young man. It led me to attend BYU and get a great education. It prepared me to serve as a missionary where I matured and strengthened my convictions. It led me to a great career, and, most importantly, to a great wife. I feel that I have been incredibly blessed and know that my Heavenly Father is providing those blessings. The struggles that I have faced in my life have been easier to bear because of my faith. I know that the happiness found within the true gospel of Jesus Christ is available to anyone who will seek it.

How I live my faith

I've had a lot of different responsibilities as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Throughout my life I've been a sunday school teacher, a missionary, and a financial clerk. I've also been in charge of organizing community service projects and promoting family history and genealogy. I'm happy to help out wherever I can and have found that the more active I am as a church member, the happier I am. I get a lot more out of my faith and religion as an active participant that I do when I'm a passive listener. Serving others is the best way to follow the example of Jesus Christ and to get to know Him. There's no better feeling than being able to come to someone's aid or to lift someone else up.
