Hi I'm Lauren

I'm a Mormon from Arizona. I'm a stay at home mom and love what I do.

About Me

I am a mom of four, married to the most handsome man, and grateful to be be home raising my family. I am a life long member of the church. My grandmother was the first to convert to the gospel. I love American history, enjoy politics, and find home design and and sewing to be my creative outlets. Although I have a bachelor's degree in finance, I should have studied theatre because that is where my heart is. Right now I spend my time homeschooling, keeping house, and learning through my personal studies. In the future, I am excited to see my children reach their potential. I would love, with my husband, to live in other places, learn new languages, and experience new surroundings. I also look forward to developing my talents and discovering neat things about my spouse and children as we grow.

Why I am a Mormon

It is simple. The feelings I have when I ponder about the Lord's church convinces me that this is the correct doctrine. I feel excitement as I learn more in life and at church services. I feel gratitude in knowing my identity in the Lord's kingdom. I feel happiness in living God's commandments. All this is possible because of the complete doctrines of the church. I am a Mormon because I love the Lord and I know this is his church. I continually study the Bible and the Book of Mormon and powerfully see that the Lord loves all of us and desires us to live with him again. This is done through obedience and making covenants, and as I strive to make correct choices I feel his love as a testimony that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to live a Christ like life and sharing my testimony. I can be an example to others and help them feel the love of the Lord. If I accomplish this, I know I am doing the Lord's work and am becoming a better member of his church. I also live my faith by actively participating in the church organizations. Not only have I accepted responsibilities in the past to help with with teens, primary aged children, and adults, but I also contribute through sharing thoughts, ideas, and commentary during lessons. The things I learn are passed to my family and they share with me what they have learned also. As we exchange ideas in our family we are strengthened in our relationships and understanding of one another.
