Hi I'm Whitney

I am a wife and a mother to the most beautiful daughter. I sing, dance, and design. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother and love what I do. I am fortunate to teach young children two of my passions in life, singing and dancing. I love sewing, photography, music, eating and spending time with family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was LDS. I havent known anything different. As a little child I relied mostly on my parents testimony until I received my own. At the age of 8 I couldnt wait to baptized. I knew my Heavenly Father loved me and I knew Jesus Christ was my Savior. As time went by my testimony continued to strengthen. At 12 years old I began doing personal scripture study. I had made a goal I would read the entire Book of Mormon. After I had finished reading the Book of Mormon I prayed and asked my Heavenly Father if it was true, I prayed and asked if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was the true church. After praying I felt peace. I knew the Book of Mormon was true, I knew the Church was true.I continued to live a righteous life because I knew I wanted to return to my Heavenly Father. Reading the scriptures and Praying to my Heavenly Father daily became a way of life. I met and married my husband at a very young age. I knew we would get married in the Temple and I knew I wanted to spend the rest of eternity with him. Previous family experiences where loved ones have passed away really gave me great hope in being sealed to my family Forever. I know I will see them all again and I am grateful I know this to be true. Now as I start my own family I cant even imagine not having them forever.

How I live my faith

I was recently called to a position where I organize activities for the women in my ward. I love spending time with other women in the church because I am able to learn so much from them. The activites vary from budgeting, Food storage, couponing, personal health, stress management, cooking, sewing, service and just plain old having a good time. I am also able to visit and teach gospel principles to women in my ward every month.
