Hi I'm Dana Christine

I'm a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a college graduate. I'm a reader, a writer, an actor, a friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from CCD with an Associate Arts Degree. I am playing in going for my bachelor's. My major is writing, but recently I have become to love acting. As funny as this sounds it allows me to be me, the me I have been hiding for along time. Acting in a play at CCD really made me look at myself I realize I am just the way I need to be. Even if I am not skinny or the perfect image of a women. I am me and that is good enough. I have grown up hating myself because of experiences I have had, but know I love myself and it feels good. I am happy on the inside and outside now. It is an amazing feeling. I was born in Oceanside, California at Camp Pendleton. I have lived in Washington, Utah, California, and Colorado. I moved to Colorado when I was 12 and have lived here ever since. I love reading, movies, playing broad games and cards, and writing. I would love to one day have my children's books published.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church so as I grew up it was the only thing I knew. About 5 years ago I started attending the singles ward. It was there that I finally came to know that this church was true. Don't get me wrong I have always believed that it was, but this time I had a very strong testimony to back it up. Through the singles ward I meet a lot of great people that helped me to come into the member I'm today. I had 2 of the best home teachers. The first one I got lead me to take out my endowments and the second one I had lead me to read the Book of Mormon all the way though and have that personal knowledge of it's truth and the truth that Joseph Smith is really a prophet ask of God to restore his true church. The greatest blessing I have ever recieved was the great privledge to go though the temple and to remain worthy to attend the temple as often as I can. I'm a Mormon because, just like all those who join the church, I have been converted to the truth of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I have served in many callings in the wards I have been apart of. I loved serving with the children of the ward most. To see the joy in their faces as they learned of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I love to serve the members of the ward and to be able to visit with all the lovely ladies in any ward I'm apart of. Visiting teaching every month really helps me to meet new people and overcome my shyness.
