Hi I'm Ryan

I like to snowboard, be outdoors, spend time with my family, and learn to do new things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went to BYU in Provo, UT. I graduated 5 years ago and work in the furniture industry now. I love college football and really any sports. I look forward to spending time with my family. We love the weather in Colorado and hope to get up to the mountains any chance we get. We have lived here over one year now and have loved our time here in this beautiful state. We are a family of four and hope to keep adding more.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because quite simply I believe in the teachings. I know that if I live the commandments I will be blessed. I was born into the church but the time has long passed where I had to decide for myself if these teachings were true. I have read the scriptures, pondered them in my heart, and prayed about them...with the help of the Holy Ghost I have come to know for myself that these things are true. I can't imagine where I would be in my life if it weren't for my membership in the church.

How I live my faith

I am a Seminary teacher. This means that I volunteer to teach Scripture Study class to a group of about 16 teenagers Monday-Friday at the church building. It starts at 6:30 in the morning and I teach for 50 minutes. Each lesson is different. It isn't always easy with a demanding work schedule and travel but I make it work and it is great to work with the youth. They provide a FUN perspective on life. It is a rewarding experience for me to volunteer to do this.
