Hi I'm Jacki

I'm a Wife, Mother of 2, love to travel the Caribbean, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite vacation spot is anywhere in the Caribbean. I love the beautiful turquoise water, white sand, and warm sun! I especially like taking cruises in the Caribbean. In my spare time i like to scrapbook and do anything creative. I enjoy baking and am always trying to out do my last creation. I majored in Interior Design, but have worked as a Retail Manager at a home furnishing store, and am currently doing in home daycare so that i can be at home with my 2 Daughters. I enjoy spending time with children, the things they say always make me laugh. I have 2 children and always wanted to have more, but was not able to. I enjoy watching them compete in sports and spending time with them. My husband is originally from Mexico, it is fun spending time with him and his family while they teach me about their culture and yummy food.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. I am a Mormon because when I was 11 years old I read the Book of Mormon for the first time and knew it was true. Now that I am older and have continued studying the Book of Mormon I feel the Holy Ghost confirming that what I am reading is true. Parenting can at times be overwhelming, I am grateful that at church I have others that are willing to help me teach my children and i don't have to do it all myself. The Youth leaders can have an effect on my children that as a parent I don't always have. By keeping the Commandmants that Heavenly Father has given us I have been protected in my life and have received great blessings that have only come from obedience. Some say that our standards are high, but I can tell you that nothing bad has ever come from choosing the right, only blessings. I want everyone to have the happiness that I have from living the gospel.

How I live my faith

I enjoy being a leader in the community that I live in. I live the gospel thru my example to my neighbors, they know my standards and know that I won't compromise. Currently I work with the Youth at church. Through this calling I am able to get to know the teenagers personally and I can tell you that we have a strong generation of good youth that stand firm in their standards and will do alot of good in the world.
