Hi I'm Lee

I'm a Mormon who loves the outdoors, fly fishing, and golf.

About Me

I am a father of six wonderful children. The oldest are in college while the youngest is still in elementary school. When not working, I like to golf and fly fish. I try and workout every day, which at my age is an absolute necessity. I love to read a good book. I also love to travel with my wife. We dedicate one week a year for the two of us to travel somewhere together. Most recently we visited Kauai and Washington D.C.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a strong Mormon family. When I was 16, my family moved from our home town. I had a great job and was enjoying my high school years. I ended up staying behind and lived with some wonderful family friends until I graduated from high school. Those 18 months taught me to be independent. That time also taught me that my faith was mine alone. I had a decision to make. I was either going to continue the faith of my childhood or I was going to find a new path for myself. Through study and prayer, I came to know the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by my parents. For me, it's pretty simple. I'm a Mormon because living my life according to the principles taught in the church brings me great happiness.

How I live my faith

I have had so many opportunities to serve in the church. As a young man, I spent two years on a mission in Germany which changed my life forever. I've worked with the teenage boys and girls in the church...in boy scouts, teaching them in Sunday School classes, and organizing summer activities specifically for them. Currently, I'm a clerk in our local congregation, taking care of many of the administrative tasks necessary for the church to run as smoothly as possible.
