Hi I'm Beckie

I am a widowed mom of six. I'm a Mormon. I love knowing my family can be together forever.

About Me

I have lived all across the southern United States. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. I am a writer, crafter, musician, and lover of art. I love learning about history and the way our lives have been built by those that have gone before us.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I have always had the church in my life, it was not until I was married that I saw the true value of the gospel. Knowing that I could be sealed to my husband and children for time and all eternity is an incredible thing. Especially now that I am a widow. I have the sweet comfort of knowing I will be with my sweetheart again after I am done here on earth. I truly believe my Heavenly Father has a plan for me and that I am guided by his love every step of the way. I can't imagine not having the guidance of the gospel in my life. It fills my heart with peace, hope and the ability to endure to the end.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in the church and in the community whenever I can. I have held several calling at church in music, as well as with the children and women's organization. I have also had the opportunity to work with MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) groups and the local election bureau during elections. I love to volunteer at my childrens' schools and to be involved in their sports and other activities. I feel I live my faith every day in all that I do. I know that we are all brothers and sisters here on earth and I look for the good in every person I meet. Everyone here has something to offer and I try to share and give others the same opportunity. I strive to treat others as Jesus would treat them.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

I am so grateful for eternal families. Being a widowed mother of six it feels me with a great sense of peace knowing that I will be reunited with my dear husband again. Although it may be hard raising my children alone here on earth, knowing that we will all be together again makes each day a little bit easier. Show more Show less
