Hi I'm Elizabeth Boulter

I'm a Mormon. I grew-up in Newbury Park, Califonia. I work in Technology for my local school district.

About Me

I am a wife to 1, mother of 4 and a grandmother of 3 (so far). I currently work for a elementary school district in the technology department - doing the state reports and teaching users how to use software. I love sewing and currently doing a lot of quilting. My green thumb is getting better and my garden grows when I have time to get out and dig in the dirt. Know what really puts a smile on my face - my grandchildren, when they are around my smile is very BIG. I really enjoy traveling and visiting family in Utah and Idaho (where i spent my summers). I also love traveling to places in the world that new to me. I've always loved a new adventure. I've started doing geneaology about 4 years ago - it has given me knew places that I want to visit.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found the strengh to endure the challenges that have come into my life. From the time when I was 15 years old and my brother was killed in an accident to today with the financial problems that come with unemployment of my husband. With the confidence of knowing that it will all turn out fine. This is also a gift that my own father shared with me while growing up. He and my mother had great faith and that great faith was shared with me. When thing became difficult he would tell me "Everything would be OK" with such conviction that I knew he was right. I have tried to do the same for my children. I found that if i live by the precepts of "love one another" and "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" that i find more joy in my life.

How I live my faith

I have currently been heading up the Indexing program in our area. Indexing is helping the world with their genealogy searches. (And my own.) I am also the secretary for our women's group. With this group of women we are able to help peope who need special help after accidents, surgery and giving birth. We are able to do this through a program call 'visiting teachers', this is where sister go out to the home of the other sisters to be able to get to know them, their families and their needs. We truely get to love these women and their families. We bring support, helping hands, love and treats.
