Hi I'm Andrea

I am a small town Oregon girl at heart. I have an awesome husband and triplets!

About Me

I am a wife to a seriously good guy and a mother to some rock star triplet babies! Although my days consist of running around like a crazy person, I wouldn't trade it for the world! I grew up on the beautiful Oregon coast in what I consider to be one of the best families ever! My parents are converts to the LDS church and raised my siblings and I in the church. I served a mission in beautiful Alberta Canada, where I Iearned a lot about myself and other people. I attended BYU where I met my husband. We were married soon after and then made the great trek to Colorado where we have been ever since. I completed my degree in Sociology, worked a bit, and then our world was completely rocked when we discovered we were having triplets. They are the absolute joy of my life! In my spare time (uh huh...yeah right) :) I love to read, dance, watch movies, play outside, do Zumba, and attempt crafty things.

Why I am a Mormon

My road to becoming an active member in the church wasn't always easy. It wasn't until I reached college and was away from home that I truly understood the love our Heavenly Father and the Savior Jesus Christ have for us. I am a Mormon because I discovered for myself that the gospel of Jesus Christ is real and true. Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us that ultimately allows us to return to Him. In a world of chaos and confusion what greater comfort can come than knowing we can be with Him again?! I know that the Book of Mormon and the Holy Bible are true. They testify of Christ and teach us how we can pattern our lives after His teachings and example. I know that the Holy Ghost is our great companion through life's ups and downs. He can guide us through the confusion, warn us of trouble, and provide lasting comfort. Most of all I know that we have a loving Savior Jesus Christ. He knows our pain, he knows our worries and our struggles. Most importantly, however, He knows how to help us through all of that so we can experience joy and happiness in this life and return to live with our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I have served the church in many different capacities, from teaching, to leading music, to organizing activities. Each of these responsibilities have given me the opportunity to stretch outside my comfort zone, develop my talents, and be a better wife and mother in my home. I try every day to be a little bit better than I was the previous day. That's the great thing about the gospel- I am continually learning and progressing. One of my goal's in life is to just be a good person, and for me that means to love and serve others unconditionally.
