Hi I'm Sara

I am a wife, mother, author, medical anomaly, chocolate lover, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am living the dream as a Mother. At the age of 12 I went through menopause. Last time I checked I was the youngest person to experience this change. After many doctors, specialists, strange and unsettling health issues, a shocking diagnosis, along with countless prayers, family love, and support, our loving Heavenly Father has blessed my husband and I with three beautiful children. Two of which I was able to carry myself, the third was adopted. Miracles do happen and I know being a Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints helped me see the purpose in all things and carried me through dealing with infertility, which was very difficult time in my life. I worked for many years and had a impressive career while waiting for the miracle of children. It was a joyful day when I was able to retire from the work place and settle into my divine role as a Mother. I am grateful every day for my life and for my family. There is nothing greater or more rewarding (or harder) than to raise children. I still pinch myself to make sure it is real! I am many things but my favorite title is Mother.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life. However, when I served a mission, that is when I really saw how amazing this Gospel is. Serving a mission helped me develop such a strong love for my savior Jesus Christ. I know our Heavenly Father loves us and is so aware of our lives and what we experience. Being a Mormon is such a comfort and joy. This Gospel teaches me the answers to who we are and where we came from, and where we are going. It is wonderful to know the purpose of life. Being a Mormon gives me direction and understanding in my life. I have always known the Church is true and that has been a blessing in my life. It helped me avoid so many hardships I know exist.

How I live my faith

I have served in many different area's in the Church, including teaching young children, youth, adults, and currently working with the women in my congregation. Service in the Church is amazing. I share my faith, teach what I know, and serve and help my friends and neighbors. I am able to study the Gospel of Jesus Christ and learn so much from the people I serve with. I have seen lives change and miracles happen in families and individuals. I am amazed with the love and compassion that exists in this great work. I have been a recipient of so much love and I have learned how to be better by the kindness of others. By studying the life of my Savior Jesus Christ I can truly know what it means to be a Christian. I am grateful to be a part of the Lords Church on Earth. We all have a place. We are all needed. I am amazed at what one person can do and how much we can each matter to one another. We are a Church, a Faith, and a family.
