Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a mother of 2 (and 1 on the way!). I'm a wife. I love running. I love to watch college football. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am happily married to an amazing husband, with 2 equally incredible children...and 1 on the way! I graduated from college in public relations and, until recently, worked in a Governor's office, which I loved. I now have the opportunity of staying home with my children, which means my days are filled with trips to the park, to the pool, singing songs, eating plenty of Mac'n Cheese, bike rides, sidewalk chalk, Duck, Duck, Goose, and lots of cuddle time...and I couldn't be happier! My husband and I love to play and watch sports together - college football and soccer are our 2 favorites. I also enjoying running and training for half-marathons by pushing my 2 kids in a double stroller. My favorite treat is Tootsie Rolls and chocolate licorice. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I had the opportunity of growing up in the LDS church, so I have been a member my entire life. Ultimately I am a Mormon because of the happiness it brings to my life. I am so grateful for the knowledge we have of eternal families and for the opportunity I have to live with my husband, children, and family for all eternity. This gospel truly is all about the plan of happiness. Living its standards fills me with hope; and in a world full of despair and negativity, the gospel brings light and purpose to my life. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who knows me and loves me. I know that I have a Savior who died and atoned for me, so I can one day become pure and live again with Him and my eternal family. I know the Book of Mormon is true and written for our latter-day. It contains truths and answers to prayers. I know the Atonement is real. I know our Heavenly Father knows each one of us individually; He knows our pains, He knows our worries, and He knows our joys.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity of teaching and being with the youth of the church. There is no better program in the world! The young men and young women of this church are incredibly strong with amazing testimonies and a deep knowledge of who they are and what they stand for.
