Hi I'm Kenneth

I am a Mormon and grew up in Vernon, Arizona. Now is living in Casa Grande with my wife and daughter.

About Me

My name is Kenneth. I am married with a teenage daughter. I live in the state of Arizona. My hobbies are cooking, gardening, cross stitch and doing genealogy. I enjoy doing family history because I love seeing American history through my family history story. Spending time with my family is fun. I love following the construction of new temples on the internet with the perspective of a retired construction worker.

Why I am a Mormon

Upon my return from military school my parents felt it was time to have religion in our lives. As a family, we start looking for a church to attend. We had several very good friends that were latter day saints. We started attending their church. We went through two set of stake missionaries and six sets of full-time missionaries before we baptized in the church. We were faithful members until I became an adult. I got busy with my life and didn’t have time for church. My return began when I started to date a young lady who was a return missionary. We got married and became active in the church. Through faith I know the gospel is true. We were sealed in the temple one year later.

How I live my faith

Be a patriarch of my family I must be the example for them. So the key areas are: going to church on Sunday and attend the temple often, having family prayer, reading scriptures daily, and doing companion pray daily. Be faithful and true to the principles of the church. Living your faith each day is not easy to do but you grow with the challenge.
