Hi I'm Kim

I am a wife, mother and grandmother who enjoys learning about health. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In 7th grade I had an English assignment to write in a journal of what I wanted to accomplish in the future. I wrote that I wanted to be married, have 6 kids, and go to school to be a secretary. I graduated from Snow College in Ephraim, Utah with my secretarial certificate, I married a wonderful man and had six children plus one adopted child. I now work in a medical office where I can take advantage of learning many more skills.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised in a Mormon family, there came a time in my life where I had to know for myself whether I truly believed all that I had been taught. I have always had a strong belief in Jesus Christ and my personal prayers were extremely important to me as I struggled through my adolescent years. However, my real conversion came as a mother. I have had many children who have struggled and life has made some difficult turns but being a Mormon has kept me focused in the right direction-toward Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

The restored gospel of Jesus Christ has taught me to serve in ways I would have never served on my own. I have been able to participate in girls camp for12-18 years olds for about 16 years. I have had the blessing of encouraging youth to do those things that will develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and also sharing in these experiences with my own children as they have participated in the youth church activities. Praying and reading scriptures with my husband and children is extremely important to me. One of the service opportunities I had lead us to the adoption of our last daughter. For the past 4 years I have had the blessing of taking over for a special mom whose body was not able to support her for long on this earth. I know, as well as my daughter does, that she will one day be reunited with her mom and sister.
