Hi I'm Dennis

I grew up in a small town in Arizona. I have traveled some in the United States and in South America. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Eagar, a town named after my grandfather. I am married and have three grown sons. Each son is married to a great wife and I have six super special grandchildren. I have been in the public education system for many year and am currently retired. Retirement allows me to spend time with my family and be more involved in my community. My hobbies include raising horses and cattle on a small ranch and helping my grandchildren enjoy milking a cow or riding a horse. I also enjoy working on family history projects.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a young man, I served as a missionary to the Andes Mission. Since completing a mission, I have served in many different callings in the ward and stake. I currently enjoy working in the area of Family History and enjoy learning about my ancestors. The teachings and example of Jesus Christ help me to be a better person.

How I live my faith

I recognize Christ as my Savior and Redeemer. I try to follow His example by serving others and helping them to understand how important He is in my life. My personal prayers and scripture study help me draw closer to Christ and understand His will. I am grateful for a prophet that leads us today and helps us overcome the temptations we encounter daily. If we listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, have our personal prayers and scripture study and listen to our prophet we will stay close to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
