Hi I'm Karen Passey Page

I grew up in South East Idaho and I love to quilt. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I belong to a group of women who get together and make quilts. We have cut days and tie days. We donated over 250 quilts to the battered women's shelter this past year. I enjoy being able to create things with my hands and quilting allows me to do this. Its like solving a puzzle, putting all the pieces together. I have a Long Arm Quilt Machine and enjoy finishing my quilt tops on it. I also enjoy gardening and I have left a forest everywhere I have lived. I plant lots of trees, you can't have to many. My husband and I belong to the National Cushman Club and we enjoy traveling to different events and riding our restored Cushman's with other people who have the same interests. My husband enjoys restoring old scooters and we both enjoy riding them with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Gospel of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints it brings me tremendous comfort. I know that if I am obedient to the Lord's teachings that I will be able to return to live in His presence and be reunited with my family once again. That is how I try to live my life. I am fearful of all the evil in the world today and pray that hearts will be softened and figure out what their purpose on this earth is. I am great full for the Atonement of Jesus Christ and all the sacrifices that have been made on my behalf.

How I live my faith

I am the Church Bulletin Specialist for my ward and I love my calling. I am also Visiting Teaching Coordinator. I have a testimony of the importance of visiting with the ladies of our ward to get to know them and their needs better. To serve them is to love them.
