Hi I'm Jennie

I'm a wife, a mom, a scrapbooker and an ASL-English Interpreter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 13 years and we have 4 amazing children. They test us at times, as expected, but they are really good kids & I couldn't imagine my life without them!! I work as an American Sign Language interpreter, and love the experiences I have had because of that skill my Heavenly Father blessed me with. When I'm not busy with the kids, work, or my calling at church, I love to bake, make cards, scrapbook, and catch up on my favorite shows.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to have been raised in the Church. I may not be the greatest scholar of the scriptures, but I know the things I read in the Book of Mormon & Bible are true. I may not know all the details of doctrine, or understand everything I read, but I know what the Spirit feels like. I love the warm and comforting feeling I get when truth is confirmed to me by the Spirit. I am a Mormon because I know, without a doubt, that this Church is the one true church on the earth.

How I live my faith

I attend my meetings every week. I enjoy going and feeling the spirit in all of our meetings. I love the music that we sing & it really uplifts me. I am the president of the Primary, the organization for children in our church. Each week we meet together and teach all of the children a lesson, learn and practice songs, and hear talks and scriptures by the children. I love teaching them, and learn so much more from them than you can imagine! I also oversee the Cub Scout program by sitting on the committee, keeping track of the budget & assisting the den leaders as needed. As a woman in the church, I also go Visiting Teaching to a few ladies each month. I enjoy going with my companion to visit these sisters...We talk and get to know each other , and share a spiritual message and relevant experience. I always feel the Spirit when I go on visits, and feel closer to those I visit.
