Hi I'm Rachel

I'm an interior designer, wife of a tech entrepreneur, and mother. Oh, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love design. All design is fascinating to me, but particularly interiors. The home is the most special place, and I love to help clients make their home special. Being able to design a space where families gather, and rooms where love is felt is truly why I do what I do. I love to stay healthy. Completing marathons are one of my biggest accomplishments. I never thought I'd be able to run 26.2 miles; but through persistent training I was able to reach my goals. I love that feeling. I love a challenge. Being a mom is the most important thing to me. I love my son and I love being a wife. Every day I try and be the best I can. I definitely fall short, but I try my hardest to be the best.

Why I am a Mormon

Mormonism is all about happiness. I know that families are together forever, and that we won't be separated when we die. Knowing this brings me happiness. I know I can turn to my God whenever I have a hard day or need strength during a difficult time. My personal, spiritual relationship with God brings me happiness. There are definitely hard times in our lives, but my belief in Jesus Christ helps me through anything.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. This also brings me happiness. There have been distinct times when I've had something horrible happen to me. Then my volunteer responsibilities have me bringing someone a meal, watching a friend's child, or giving someone a ride somewhere. These are all such small, simple acts of service but they can mean a lot to someone (I've been the recipient--I know). Service lifts me up. It shows me what's important in life, and it really does make me feel better.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Rachel
Yes!! God loves His people and knows we need direction today just as much as he does when Moses was a prophet. Show more Show less
