Hi I'm Ken

I grew up in Castle Dale Utah. After graduating from high school, I attended and graduated from the University of Utah.

About Me

After Graduating from the University of Utah I then enlisted into the Air Force as a second Lieutenant, and spent 21 years in various assignments all over the world. Some places that I have served were Germany, France, Hawaii, Washington DC and Texas. My family and I liked our time in the service because we were able to spend a lot of time together. I am married to a wonderful woman for the last 58 years, together we have six children. All of them are still dear to me and my wife. I am currently enjoying the retired life in Arizona. I enjoy fishing and spending time in the outdoors, cooking with the dutch ovens and I must admit I can fillet a fish really well. I have spent 20 years as a scout master, during this time I have brought about 15 boys to the rank of Eagle Scout. I enjoying using my hands to build furniture and other things in the wood shop. However as I do like those hobby's my time is mostly spent serving our Heavenly Father as a volunteer at the Mesa Arizona Temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born one. I have enjoyed serving my Heavenly Father and helping people strengthen their lives. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and organized the church under the direction of our Father in Heaven. I have seen the power of the priesthood, strengthen the lives of others by healing of the sick, and removal of evil spirits. I know that the church has been restored due to my diligence in seeking for this answer by prayer and fasting. The Church provides program's that strengthen my family, and allows them to remain close to our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I strive live my life with a Christ centered approach. Helping those that are less fortunate than I. I strive to let others know of my love for Christ and our Father in Heaven. Throughout the years of my life I have served in a volunteer basis in many positions in the church. I feel that when I am in the service of others I am in the service of my Heavenly Father and this will bless others through my hands. I have felt the spirit strongly when I am in the service of others. I am thankful to be blessed with having this gospel in my life. It has blessed me richly. I only hope that others will know for themselves what peace can come through living this gospel plan.
