Hi I'm Ann

I love to be with my family and search my family history. I love to be home with my children and watch them grow. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up the youngest of six children and was alone for most my growing up years. My older siblings were a bit spread out from me which has instilled in me the desire for a big family and not being alone. I love to search my family history, scrapbook, design, cook, and spend time with my family. I Love to be with my children at sports games and activities. I am happy to have religion in my life and part of my everyday activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into an LDS family. I have always known that the church is true but I didn't read the book of Mormon cover to cover until I was a young wife. I know the Book of Mormon to be true and know without a doubt in my mind that Thomas s. Monson is our latter day prophet. I know that prayer is a powerful connection we have with our father in heaven and that he loves us and knows us by name. I know the power of the priesthood in my home has been a blessing not only for me but for all my family. I see god's hand in my life continually and am grateful for the knowledge I have and for the blessings of being a member of this church. I know the book of Mormon to be the word of god and know it to be another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that I am a daughter of my father in heaven, an eternal being having an earthly experience. I know this to be true.

How I live my faith

I stay busy with my children in sports activities and lessons. Three times a year for 2months at a time, I am helping out with their games through the city leagues. At church, a group of women get together to help serve those who are sick, mothers with new babies, funerals, babysitting, making things for charities, soup kitchen for those who don't have food to eat and more. I have a calling in our church to be a teacher in our relief Society, which is the woman's class and I also teach the bear den in cub scouts that our church is over. I also help my husband with the young men in our church with many activities.

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

Ann
No they do not endorse political parties. They encourage us to be prayerful in our decisions, that we select the best person to hold our nations values and beliefs. I feel it is very important to vote and not take that privilege for granted. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Ann
It is what we believe and know to be true. It is very personal and unique to each individual. The greatest gift any human can share with another is their own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Show more Show less
