Hi I'm Steve

I'm a Mormon. I'm retired scientist and engineer. I love to fly fish.

About Me

I'm a father of five, 3 girls and 2 boys. I love to fly fish, backpack and hike. the problem is I'm having to work 6 days a week and don't have much time to get away.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon but have had times I was less active. As I have lived the teaching of Christ I have gained a knowledge of the true that living the commandment are the path to happiness. That does not mean I am a mindless drone. On the contrary, I often question, but continue to receive the conformation of the Holy Ghost that the gospel as found in the Bible and Book of Mormon and to taught by prophets of God that live today are the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

My first calling is with my family. Four of my kids are married, and one son is out of school with a great job. This is an interesting time as my wife and I are beginning to be come "empty- nesters". This means more time together. We have just been called to serve a Family History Records Preservation mission in the New Zealand Auckland Mission for 18 months. This is where my father and I served our missions a young men.
