Hi I'm Jeremy

I'm a husband, a father, a lover of the great outdoors, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the lucky father of two wild and wonderful children (they get the wild part from my lovely wife). I work in marketing and enjoy the great outdoors, especially when I’m on a bike in the mountains. I’ve lived in several countries and many parts of the U.S., and enjoy meeting new people.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I had to discover for myself whether this religion was indeed Christ’s church. I began reading the Book of Mormon in earnest in high school. One night as I was reading in the fourth chapter of the Second Book of Nephi, I came across a passage that touched me deeply. I felt the Holy Ghost witness the truthfulness of what I was reading. Since that time, I’ve read the Book of Mormon many, many times. I know it is true, and as a result, I know Joseph Smith was a prophet and that Christ’s church has been restored in modern times.

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints doesn’t employ a paid clergy. As a result, members serve voluntarily in different capacities for varying amounts of time. My current service is as a secretary to the leader of one of our congregations. It keeps me busy on Sundays and sometimes during the week. In addition to Sunday worship and volunteer time, living my faith means striving to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ all time. Jesus said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16) I try to live in a way that others can see the happiness the gospel brings to me.
