Hi I'm Peggy.

I'm a college graduate; I'm a wife; I'm a mom of five; I'm a writer; I'm a business partner; I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a wife and a mom. I have five wonderful children and an amazing husband. One of our daughters has Joubert Syndrome and this has connected us with the special needs community where we've had some incredible experiences. I love to read and write fiction. I enjoy most kinds of music but especially like classical/opera and classic rock. I love traveling - some of my favorite places are Hawaii, Hong Kong, and Italy.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon because of the many wonderful experiences I've had that have helped me understand that God, my Heavenly Father, knows me personally and that he loves me and cares about me. When I was a teenager, a teacher challenged us to study the Book of Mormon and pray about its truthfulness. I accepted this challenge and when I prayed I got an answer and knew that it was true. This started a great journey for me and I know Heavenly Father is always mindful of me and what I need. I just need to trust in Him. The more choices I make that draw me close to Him, the more this knowledge is strengthened.

How I live my faith

After many years serving the children's organization I now currently serve with the teenage youth of our ward. They are each wonderful groups. We meet together on Sundays and also mid-week for faith-promoting activities. With my visiting teaching partner I also get to visit three sisters in the ward each month.
