Hi I'm Joseph

I am an entreprenuer. I travel around the world. I am a husband and a father and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Above all I am a family man. Time spent with my wonderful wife and children is where I find the greatest degree of fulfillment. I treasure my role as a husband and father. I am reminded of the enormous influence I have in shaping the future of my children by observing how my words and actions affect my children both positively and negatively. I know how much my wife's daily experience is enriched by my care for her and involvement in her life. I ask myself at the end of every day how I have made their lives better and what I can do to improve.

Why I am a Mormon

The start of my conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ came from a desire to know if the Book of Mormon was a true record. I decided to read the entire book and then ask God to tell me in some way if it was true or false. I completed the task of reading the book and discovered in the process of reading an enlightenment and spiritual closeness to God that was new to my life. I had never before experienced any such feelings. At the conclusion of reading the book I knelt down and asked God to tell me if the book was a true account of Christ's visitation to the ancient inhabitants of America. What ensued next is the reason why I am a Mormon. I received a clear and unmistakeable answer to my prayer that the Book of Mormon is indeed a true account. That expereince happened 17 years ago. Since that time God has touched my life in so many ways as if to say, "you are known and you are loved." Since my conversion to the gospel of Jesus Christ, my life has been rich and full. I know what it is like to not have this knowledge and these spiritual gifts in my life and I would not trade what I have for the world.

How I live my faith

I ask myself this question alot. In fact the more I ask it the better I become at living my faith. So for me it starts with making sure my daily decisions are in keeping with my core beliefs. I believe Christ wants me and others to serve each other with compassion. I visit the homes of other church members and minister to their needs. I teach lessons on Sundays. I am involved in family history and am learning more about my ancestors and the plan that God has in place for those deceased persons that never had the chance to accept Christ in this life.
