Hi I'm Jon

Ice Cream Connoisseur. Born and raised in Arizona. Grew up in a large family - Definitely a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of 3 young kids. Although I like to mountain bike, snowboard, and water ski, I rarely take the chance to do any of those things these days. Instead, I spend more of my time playing ninja warriors, jungle gym, and even dress up. I wouldn't have it any other way though.

Why I am a Mormon

The simple answer is that I was born one. The reason I'm still a member is a little less simple, but not much less. The reason I'm still a Mormon is because I feel something when I read the Book of Mormon. I feel more at peace. As I strive to live God's commandments, I feel closer to God. I can't point to a single experience, but my knowledge has come from more than a thousand experiences that have brought me closer to my Savior. I'm still a Mormon because I have come to know that God has a plan for us, and that this is His church.

How I live my faith

Being a Mormon is apart of my everyday life. Every week my wife and I get to corral the 3 year old kids while their parents attend church classes. It is fun to see how different the kids are and how they interact with one another. While we are only able to teach a short lesson about God, families, or some other aspect of the gospel, it has been fun to see their growth over time.
