Hi I'm Marci

I am a swim teacher, Mom to four fantastic kids, Wife to an amazing man and I LOVE life,I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of four beautiful children. I love to be active! I love taking walks, hiking, swimming, going kayaking, being with friends and hanging out with my family. I love the youth of the world and find it so fulfilling to be around them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a member of this church. I have truly, for myself, come to know that this Gospel is true. I love that when I have questions about life I can always find an answer either by reading my scriptures, praying or hearing the words of a living, or past Prophets. I love the foundation it gives me to raise a righteous family and teach my children timeless values. I am grateful to have the knowledge of the Godhead. That Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ and distinct seperate beings and that the Holy Ghost is seperate but can dwell anywhere. It gives me self confidence knowing that I lived with Him before I came to earth and I am his daughter. This Gospel and it's teachings mean everything to me, it infiltrates every part of my life for the good. I love to have the sweet calming peace only the Holy Ghost can give me in a time when this world seems anything but peaceful.

How I live my faith

This is a very service-oriented church which I love because I don't think there is any better way to love people then to serve them. I serve in my ward right now as the young womens president. This means I work with all the girls ages 12-18. We have activities once a week where we do many different things. We learn valuable skills like cooking, applying to college, car maintenance, sewing etc.. We have alot of fun doing many activities that relate to a gospel principle. We do some high adventure activities like rapelling, kayaking, camping and hiking. Also we do many camps, dances and youth conferences that help the youth build their testimonies and can be around kids with their same standards. Other ways I live my faith are with my family we have scripture study every morning before they go to school..best part of the day! We have family prayer each day and every Monday night we have Family Home Evening where we help teach our children about the Gospel and just have fun as a family. I think many think this church has so many rules and time commitments and it is true, but I truly feel that all these are in place to keep us safe and happy and free from the bondage of sin and idleness. I would not want to spend my time any other way!
