Hi I'm Laura

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of four.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were married at a young age and did not belong to any particular religion. Shortly after I was born my parents divorced. My mother, whom I was living with at the time, was lost and lonely. She was blessed to meet a family who belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was soon baptized. My siblings and I followed, each as we turned the age of eight. At the age of twelve, I had the opportunity to live with my father. He had been searching as well for something in his life that he had been missing. I shared with him what I had learned about Jesus Christ and how the church had been a positive influence on me, helping me through my difficult youth. He took the missionary lessons, stopped smoking and drinking, and decided that he too wanted something better for himself and his family. The gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed my family time and time again.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as Primary president in our ward. I help to teach the youth about our Savior Jesus Christ and the role that He has played and does now play in our lives. I help to organize activities that are both spiritually and physically rewarding for the youth. I am also a visiting teacher. I visit with other ladies in the ward and try to make sure that when they are needing a hand, that I am there to help.
