Hi I'm Terry

I'm a husband, a father of four sons, a golf professional, a law student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In 1987 I married my high school sweetheart and together we have four sons. Although I have a B.A. in Political Science, I’ve been a golf professional for the past 20 years. I spend most of my time teaching and coaching, and many of my friends think I have the dream job. Nevertheless, I’m now attending law school, which is what I had planned to do after earning my bachelor’s degree. I enjoy playing sports and attending sporting events. I have a small vegetable garden and I’d have a bigger one if I had the space. Of course, the Arizona climate is a challenge. I enjoy reading, movies and traveling.

Why I am a Mormon

The simple reason is that I was born into a Mormon family. But now that I’m older I remain an active Mormon because of the direction my faith gives to my life. I am confident that the way I live my life pleases my Heavenly Father and it also pleases me.

How I live my faith

I was taught good values in my childhood home and I have always been blessed with the desire to live my faith. Like many young Mormon boys, I served a two-year full-time mission when I was 19. One of my sons has completed a mission and another is currently serving a mission. My family is the most important thing in the world me. The Church is a great help to me and my wife as we try to raise our boys to be honest, respectful, hard-working and thoughtful men. We attend Church every Sunday and accept opportunities to serve in our local congregation.
