Hi I'm Bryce

College student. Computer geek. Mormon.

About Me

I am from a small farming town in Eastern Washington state. My parents joined the church in college and I was born shortly thereafter. I was raised believing in Heavenly Father and Jesus, and taught to do my best in all things. I just finished my second year at a small college, studying information systems. I love computers, almost to the point of obsession some would say, as well as trucks (any size), music (most kinds) and taking long walks.

Why I am a Mormon

Simply, because I choose to be. I was raised with these values and they have guided my life, and still do. I don't pretend to believe blindly or never to question the Church; I question things all the time. However, as good as other religions are they all seem to lack something. I am a Mormon because, if the church is true then that means that all the promises made in the scriptures and by the prophets are also true, such as eternal marriage and eternal life with Heavenly Father. I want to be part of that!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good person and living how I believe. I make many mistakes but I try again and do my best. That's what God expects; our best efforts. If we trust Him and work hard, we will be blessed. I have seen that firsthand in my life.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Bryce
Most of the people I have ever helped have been non-Mormon. I grew up with friends of many faiths, and the number of Mormons in my home town was small. Most Mormons will not think twice about helping someone who is Catholic, Muslim, or atheist. Jesus commanded us to love our neighbor and to help them. If we really are Christians, we will live accordingly. Show more Show less
