Hi I'm Cole

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my best friend. I have 6 children and 12 grandchildren(and 1 on the way). One of my God given talents is mathematics, so the occupation I chose and have been employed doing for nearly 30 years, is land surveying. I worked as a surveyor in the oil field for 15 years. I am presently a registered land surveyor in the state I reside in. I chose this profession so that I could work outdoors and enjoy the world around me. I enjoy playing guitar, running, hiking, camping and spending time with my family. I also enjoy traveling and visiting new places. As mentioned, one of my passions is running. This is something that I truly enjoy. It is something that my wife and I love doing. We usually run 18-25 miles a week, and try to run at least 1 half marathon a year.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that the church of Jesus Christ was restored to this earth through a living prophet named Joseph Smith. I believe that Joseph Smith spoke with God and through this coorespondence the true gospel of Jesus Christ was ushered in to the latter days. I know that by following the principles and doctrines that I learn, I can return to live with my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I spend alot of my spare time in service to my ward family. I have been called to serve as a counselor to our bishop. I assist him in his duties and try to help lighten his load. All of the work we do for the church is voluntary and we are not compensated monitarily for our service, however we are blessed beyond imagination. I love living the principles of the Momon faith. It provides my family with protection from harmful and damaging substances, and protects us spiritually from corruption and immorality. One of the more enjoyable parts of my calling as a counselor is the time that I spend teaching and playing games with the youth of our church. I love the conviction and determination they have to live righteously and become a productive and beneficial addition to our community.
