Hi I'm Trent

I grew up in Texas and I've always been fascinated by how the body works. I'm now an anesthesiologist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married for 8 years and have 2 kids. My little girl is the world's most precocious 3 year old and my 1 year old boy is laid back and super happy despite his medical challenges (cleft lip and palate). I went to medical school in Texas and residency in Colorado.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family with strong Mormon heritage since the beginnings of the Church. While that's how I got to the Church, the reason I have stayed with the Church is because of a powerful and personal experience I gained through prayerful consideration of the veracity of its teachings. The wonderful thing is that no matter your station in life, you can pray and ask God for guidance in your life and that He exists and will answer in some form or another.

How I live my faith

When I'm not on call in the hospital, I teach Sunday School to the adult men at least once a month. When I am on call, I try to focus on the fact that I am serving God's children who are in need in order to make Sunday a day dedicated to the Lord.
