Hi I'm Jean

I'm a Mormon. 57 years married, 6 children, 30 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. I love being a mom and grandma.

About Me

I met my husband at BYU. We have 6 children, 30 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. They are the love of my life next to my husband. I love to read, play the piano, good movies, bake, serve others. I am the President of our women's organization, the Relief Society, and have served in every organization in the church. At one time I was a member of the Arizona Mormon Choir. I love good music.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe I was born with a testimony of the church. I have always known it was true. i received my testimony of the Book of Mormon at the age of 25 when I read it from cover to cover for the first time. I know that Joseph Smith translated this book from plates of gold. My testimony of Joseph Smith is unshakeable because the Book of Mormon is tangible evidence that he was a Prophet. That is why I am a Mormon. I know that we have Prophets on the earth today and that Thomas S. Monson is our current Prophet--a Prophet to the entire world. That is my testimony.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending all of my meetings and by serving wherever I am needed. I bare my testimony to others whenever I have the opportunity. I try to keep His commandments and set a good example for my family and acquaintances.
