Hi I'm Zoe.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've was born and raised in Texas. I work and live far from most of my family. I work full time and just this semester am starting college courses for the first time. I'm looking forward to further my education and I'm persuing biology as my major for the time being. I attend a singles ward in the DFW area and love my ward family. Some activites I like to participate in are dancing, playing the guitar, going to concerts and running.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to have been born and raised into the LDS church. Although circumstances surrounding my senior year in highschool led me astray. For 4 years I lived in what felt like total darkness. I didn't know what I believed and I was looking for truths anywhere away from what I was taught as I was raised. When I couldn't find what I was looking for, I started to think again about the church and how I hadn't felt that sense of peace since I had left. It was a hard struggle, abandoning old habbits as I came back to what I know to be the truth today, but I received an overwhelming sense of peace and of love as I sat through the meetings. I felt like I'd come home. I know now more solidly than I ever have that the truths that are taught in this gospel come straight from our Heavenly father and his son, the lord Jesus Christ, and that the full truths and principles of his church have been restored by the young prophet, Joseph Smith. Who made a life's worth of sacrifices to carry out God's plan, completely submitting to His will, so that the lords word may be shared with everyone who will hear it. That they may be able to come into His church and be able to feel at home as I have and do to this day. The church to me is a little piece of Heaven on earth, and as we all strive to become more Christ-like together, we will all be able to come to know of it's truth and see many miracles in the process, drawing nearer to our families, each other and to our savior. I know without a doubt that the Book of Mormon is true and that it has a power that comes from reading and studying in it. I encourage everyong to read the Book of Mormon, and if you've read it, to read it again and again as each time you will find pieces of greater meaning to you. I share this, my testimony, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

In the church I am what is called a "Ward Missionary" for the singles ward in Fort Worth. Monthly I teach the new member and investigator class. I attend institute class weekly as well as other weekly ward activites that give opportunies for us as single latter day saints to socialize and get to know one another better.
