Hi I'm Ryan

I love the western mountain landscape of the United States. I love fishing, camping, and hunting with my family! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. Camping, fishing, hunting and just being outside with my family and friends are my favorite things to do. I love sports too...football, basketball, and baseball...in that order. My kids play soccer and I love watching them play. I enjoy gardening and yard work. I'll mow my lawn twice a week just because it's fun. Country music is my favorite music...the older the better!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon means following the Savior Jesus Christ and His teachings. Doing this brings peace and joy to my life. It gives life purpose. It does'nt mean life is easy but it makes the challenges and difficulties of life easier to bear. As a Mormon we believe that the president of the church (Thomas S. Monson) is a propeht of God. Just like Moses, Issac, Abraham or any other prophet of the scriptures. As a prophet he speaks and teaches us the will of God. This leadership brings peace and comfort in a troubled world.

How I live my faith

I attend church each week. Each Tuesday night I spend time with the Young Men organization. We do scouting activities, service projects, and go camping. Sometimes we just play basketball or dodgeball. I also teach the 16 and 17 year-old young men each Sunday. The lessons are usually about 30 minutes each and it gives me an opportunity to study the scriptures and learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I try to pray each morning and night. As a family we pray at night and before our meals. Doing this allows us to stay close the Lord.
